Ruedon Ward was born to Eather Ree Ward (deceased) and Rudolph Ward (deceased) on October 26, 1944, in Shorterville, AL. Ruedon went into the military on May 12, 1966, and served in Vietnam as a Sargent E-5. He served until his Honorable Discharge and worked as a Plasterer until his retirement.
Ruedon Ward was blessed with his children: Sheila Jordan (David) (Kamyron Jordan, Taylor Jordan), Shon Thompson (Gordon) (Brenton Otey, Bayla Thompson, Bhelen Thompson), Star Ward (Brenae Ivery), Ruedon Ward (Cheryl) (Kayla Ward, Kalan Ward, Ava Ward), Shalita Thrasher (Lamar) (Kennedi Jackson, Jordan Thrasher), Tasha Stevens-McClure (Bradford) (Leroy Johnson III), Valencia Ward (Brayon & Xavion (twins), Ke’Andrae, Kelvin), Shantel Brown (Robert) (Lillie Collins, Davion Collins), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his siblings: Angeline Perry (Clinton) (Shaun Perry, Tamela Perry), Maureen Ward (Charlene Ward (deceased), Audrey Dunn, Keith McGirt), Ethel Mae Bennett ((deceased) Dana Johnson, Rashana Bennett (deceased)), Thomas Ward (Hilda) (Antonio Edison), Debra Sanders (Derrick) (Justin Sanders, Jordan Sanders).
On March 28, 2024, God called his faithful soldier home to be with him. Ruedon without a doubt, is resting in the land of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
