Ronald Albert Schubert

Ronald Albert Schubert passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 85 in Sarasota, FL. He was born on June 28, 1938, in New York. Ron spent the majority of his life in Wisconsin, where he developed a deep passion for sports. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers, he would eagerly follow every game.

In addition to sports, Ron enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He found solace in reading the newspaper, challenging himself with daily crossword puzzles, and reading history novels. Cards were a staple in his house. His competitive spirit shone through when playing cribbage and sheepshead, as he was known as a fierce competitor.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Pat, and their children Stephanie (Bob), Steve, and Sue (John). He was a treasured grandfather to Jordan, Peyton, Patrick, Lauren, Paige, and Andrew. Ron's family meant the world to him, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
