Patricia Johnson

Our dear mother Patricia A. Johnson passed away of natural causes on December 2, 2024.  Pat was born on March 17, 1944 and she was 80 years old when she was called home.  Pat raised 2 sons and her passion was customer relations when she worked outside of her home.  She was a wonderful mother, always there when we needed her the most, offering support, advice, and unending love.  Fostering cats brought her much joy.  She had many friends and was a beloved member of the community, leaving behind a legacy of strength, love, and commitment.
Pat was born in Pennsylvania and had lived in PA and NJ in the early years where she met the man of her dreams.  She was married to Edwin D. Johnson for 61 years and they lived in Venice and subsequently in Sarasota for nearly 40 years and will be greatly missed.  They are now together again, forever, with no pain or suffering.

Pat left behind her son David and daughter-in-law JoAnne.

To celebrate Pat’s life, family & friends will gather on February 20, 2025.  In lieu of traditional mourning, we request the joy of your company in bright colors, reflecting Pat’s vibrant and outgoing spirit.

She will be laid to rest along with her husband at Sarasota National Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held at the same location at 1:30pm on February 20, 2025.

The Celebration of Life will take place at Park East in Sarasota at 2:30, the same day.
