Mahlon D. Mast, of Sarasota, FL went to be with Jesus on April 5, 2023. He was born in Parkman, Ohio to Dan J. and Laura (Miller) Mast on June 13, 1941. He served in the US Army as a medic from 1964 to 1966. He was employed as a set up machinist at Vlchek Flambeau Corp. in Middlefield, Ohio till moving to Sarasota to start Mast Brothers Lawn Service with his brother Danny. He was also employed at Château Village in Bradenton till his retirement. While in Ohio, he loved fishing and hunting. Being unable to attend church after an accident, he was a faithful follower of John Hagee and David Jeremiah ministries. Preceding him and death are his parents, five brothers, two sisters and seven nephews. He leaves behind two sisters, Mary (Melvin) Miller, and Esther Mast of Sarasota, and many nieces and nephews who love their uncle Mahlon. Celebration of his life will be held with family and friends at a later date. Many thanks to the awesome care of Hospice staff and the many friends who called with their condolences. God bless you all.
Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on his gentle breast,
There by his love forever, Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Til we join you in heaven,
your loving family.
