Keith Alan Clark

Keith Alan Clark of Sarasota, FL passed away on Nov 4th 2025.

He was 79, a veteran and retired from GTE/Verizon.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Marcia (Marcy) Shepard Clark; his sister Marsha Pearce, sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Bill Sykes; God-daughter, Victoria Leyva; and several nieces and nephews.

Keith now rests in peace with his beloved sons, Bert and James, who sadly predeceased him. He is also predeceased by his parents, Jean and Marshall Clark, and in-laws, Bert and Olga Shepard.

Keith was an avid animal volunteer, rescuing more than 400 animals, both domestic and wild, over his lifetime. He rescued animals everywhere he lived, in Sarasota, FL, Blairsville, GA and Knoxville, TN.

Keith was loved by so many. His devotion to his wife, his love for his sons and his sense of humor enriched the lives of friends and family. He made the world a better place.

My “Clarkie” will truly be missed!

A Memorial Service will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 9:30 am.
