Joseph James Lloyd

Mr. Joseph Lloyd, age 81, passed away December 17, 2024, at his home in Sarasota, Fl. He was born March 23, 1943 in Cambridge, Ma. The beloved husband of the late Janie B. Lloyd. He was the son of the late Mary (Colosimo) Lloyd, Robert Lloyd and Joseph Carceo. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He and Janie raised 3 children in Billerica, Ma. When Joe retired from his position as Senior Vice President, at The Boston Stock Exchange in 2004, he and Janie moved to Lexington, Tn. Joe was preceded in death by his brother Robert Lloyd II. He leaves his loving family of two sons, Mark Lloyd (Elizabeth) and Joseph Lloyd II (Jennifer); his daughter, Rebecca Gately (James); and nine grandchildren, Brianna, Sarah, Benjamin, Samuel, Joseph, Gianna, Thomas, Parker, and Griffin; as well as his companion Elaine Johnson, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, half siblings and dear friends.
