John O. Plescia

After a brief illness, John O. Plescia, age 91, passed away February 6, 2025 at his home in Venice, Florida.

He was born November 19, 1933, in Ururi, Campobasso, Molise, Italy, son of Nicola A. and Maria G. Plescia.  He arrived in the United States at the age of 4 years, grew up in Batavia, New York, graduated from Batavia High School with the class of 1951.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, attended Rochester Institute of Technology for 3 years, and was a Financial Advisor for over 40 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico, working with Quinn & Co. and other financial firms.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Adam and one sister, Teresa.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara, four daughters, Nancy, Cynthia, Julie, and Lisa, daughter-in-law, Alison, sister, Amelia, and many other family members.

He was deeply loved and will be missed.
