John R. Lusardi

John R. Lusardi (Ron/Ronnie) of Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at age 82.

Ron was born on February 16, 1943 to John J. and Ethel Lusardi in Huntington, NY and grew up in Woodbury, NY. He graduated from Syosset High School in 1960 and went on to serve as a Letter Carrier for the Woodbury Post Office for 31 years. He was the neighborhood favorite, getting to know his route residents (and their pets) personally. From 1965-1967 he served in the US Army as an MP. In retirement, he enjoyed keeping up on current events, reading Clive Cussler novels, doing crossword puzzles, dining out, and watching sports (especially attending his beloved grandsons' football and lacrosse games).

Ron is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia, daughter Robin Kornett, her husband, TJ and their children, Johnny and Jace.
