Felicia Calhoun Rowe

Felicia Calhoun Rowe (Tippie), 82, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Felicia moved to Sarasota in 1952, where she made her home for more than seven decades. She was a proud graduate of Sarasota High School, Class of 1961, and went on to earn her degree from Webber College in 1963.

Felicia enjoyed a long and successful career as a legal secretary, working for many years with prestigious law firms in the field of civil litigation. Known affectionately as “Tippie,” she was cherished for her warmth, sense of humor, and infectious spirit. Tippie never met a stranger; her easy laughter and genuine kindness made everyone feel welcome in her presence. Her life was filled with love for her family and friends. Her generous heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Colonel Tyler Calhoun Jr. and Margarita Calhoun, and her older sisters, Rita Correll and Ethel Forrest.

Tippie is survived by her daughter, Julianne Rowe (Phil Kellogg), and Julianne’s sons, Tripp and Will; and by her son, Robert T. Rowe (Lisa), and their children Kalissa, Beau, Ryleigh, Sydney, and Brooks. She is also survived by her three nieces, a nephew, and their families; all of whom held a special place in her heart.
