Edwin Richard Mallia

Edwin "Butchie" Mallia, 82, of Palmetto, Florida, a native New Yorker of Astoria, Queens, passed away on the morning of May 24th, 2023.
Butchie was born in Astoria to Joseph and Emanuela Mallia. He was the youngest of four brothers Hank, Paul, and Joe Mallia.
He is survived by his three children and seven grand children that he deeply adored.
He was loved by many in his community, always with a smile and happy to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved fishing whenever he got the chance.
Butchie requested for no funeral service and will be cremated. In his honor his children will have a private ceremony of a celebration of his life.
