David Rosaire St. Louis passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 73.
David proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, a role that reflected his strength, dedication, and quiet sense of duty.
He found his greatest comfort fishing near rivers and lakes, and in the quiet beauty of the outdoors. He cherished peaceful mornings, worked with steady hands, and found joy in tinkering with projects always in motion. A simple and funny man at heart, he brought warmth, laughter, and a quiet sense of joy to those around him.
He will be deeply missed by his loving children, Stacy ( Hori , Ronny ( Juli , and his grandchildren: Emily, Veronica, Aiden, Ian
Step son Kei and grandchildren Deven ) Crystal ,David , Celeste, and Seraphina
He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, GG and Midnight, who were loyal and always by his side.
David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlene Smith, and his parents, Rosaire and Thelma St. Louis.
He is survived by his siblings, Arthur, Richard, Linda, and Barbara; and by his nieces and nephews: Jimmy, Billy, Michael, Margie, Jennifer, Buffy, and Bobby.
David will be remembered for his quiet strength, his gentle humor, his love of nature, and the steady, comforting presence he brought to all who knew him.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace—reunited with those who went before him and resting in the presence of the Lord. His love lives on in every memory and in every quiet moment that reminds us of him. He will be forever missed and always loved.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
