Daniel Beursken

Daniel James Beursken 50 of Myakka City, Fl passed away on August 10, 2024. He was born on July 18, 1974 to Frances (Kozak) and William Beursken. 

Daniel was a 1993 graduate of Southeast highschool, then went onto work as a carpenter and construction worker.

Dan enjoyed fishing, hunting, building different things with wood, spending time with family especially nieces,nephews, and his grandkids, always teasing and telling them he's gonna throw them in the dirt and would always ask who was gonna catch the biggest and most fish. Dan would also tell his kids to respect their elders and taught them good manners. Dan enjoyed listening to hard rock, alternative rock and old school country music. Dan was always up for a good time.  He loved to laugh and joke with everyone he met. 

Dan is survived by his father William Beursken, Brother Ben Beursken, Sister Sarah Oliver, (Chris Oliver), Sister Laura Beursken, Children Destiny Beursken, Nikolas Beursken, Mckalia Beursken (Alex Hammer), Grandchildren Rachel Bohland, Nathan Bohland, and soon to be Leelynnd Jaymz Beursken-Hammer and niece, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Dan is preceded in death by life partner Diane Ziegelman, by his mother Frances Beursken, nephew Caleb Beursken, Grandparents Rosella and James Kozak, Margaret and John Beursken.

His family will receive friends on Sunday August 25, 2024 at Myakka City Community Center 10060 Wauchula Rd, Myakka City, Fl 34251 from 4-7pm, everyone is welcome to stay later with his children and friends. Please bring a dish to share.
