Anna Elizabeth (Steigerwald) Harasz

Anna Elizabeth Steigerwald Harasz, 94, of Rocky Hill/Wethersfield, CT, passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 6, 2025, in Florida.

Anna was born on August 24, 1931, in Nemetker, Hungary. She moved to Connecticut with her husband, John, and their son Geza, where they raised a family and shared a life together. She was predeceased by her beloved sons, Geza Harasz and Richard Harasz, her grandson Chuck Sasso, and her husband, John Harasz. She is survived by her loved ones, Annette Kotch, Nancy Harasz, George Harasz, Joey Harasz, and Robert Kotch.

Anna was known for her traditional Hungarian cooking and baking, delighting family and friends with her meals and pastries. She also enjoyed reading and had a great sense of humor, always sharing kind words and a warm smile. Her warmth and joy were a constant presence in the lives of her family and friends.

Anna’s warmth, laughter, and kindness touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends for the love and joy she shared throughout her 94 years.
